Minesweeper Roguelike

About

A minesweeper roguelike. Nine floors, permadeath, and loot you only keep if you make it out.

Uncover tiles to cross each floor. Numbers tell you how many dangers are adjacent. Mark the ones you're sure about, sweep the ones you've solved, be careful everywhere else.

The difference from minesweeper is that uncovering a monster doesn't end the run. It hits you once and then stays on the board. If you have a weapon you can click it to kill it and take its souls. If you don't, it's an obstacle you have to route around.

The descent

Nine floors, each with its own tileset, monsters, and a single warden. From floor 5 onward the stairs stay locked until you find and kill that floor's warden.

Boards grow as you go, from 12×12 at the start to 96×96 on the last floor, with a scrolling camera and a minimap.

Treasure has to be extracted

Locked vaults hold 12 unique treasures. Getting one is the easy part — they only count if you finish the run alive. Die on floor 8 carrying three of them and you lose all three. Anything you extract is saved permanently to the Hall of Trophies.
